LAP: Determing the Approval Authority

Now that we have completed our detour on waivers, let's continue with our example of a Limited Acquisition Plan (LAP).

After the APW determines that you need to create a LAP (and you have decided not to request a waiver) the next step is to establish Approval Authority.

The APW displays the screen below to help you determine the proper approval authority. It asks you relevant questions about acquisition conditions and acquisition category.

Establishing the approval authority for Limited Acquisition Plans is determined by which of the conditions and categories listed, apply to the acquisition.

This wizard will help you determine the appropriate approval authority for your Limited Acquisition Plan.
